I still don’t like Bush.

In Washington, Bush said “I take responsibility” for the government’s failures in dealing with the hurricane, and he said the disaster raised questions about the nation’s ability to respond to natural disasters as well as terrorist attacks.

“Are we capable of dealing with a severe attack? That’s a very important question and it’s in the national interest that we find out what went on so we can better respond,” the president said.

Does this man, whom I think of as extremely unintelligent, ever think about anything other than guns, bombs and war? All of these people were left homeless and dead from a natural disaster and all he can think about is, what about the next terrorist attack?! Wasn’t the fact that all of the La. National Reserve were posted in Iraq, contributing to one of the reasons that things got so out of hand there? Let’s also not forget all the aid he refused when the first hurricane hit, only to grovel on his knees later to admit, yes, we do need help.

That’s all I have to say about that. Now I have to go to work.
