“All that I am or hope to be, I owe to my mother.”
— Abraham Lincoln
My mom has always been the most important person in my life. She has always been there for me to encourage me when I’m down and to remind me of the strength I have within myself. My mom has always been by my side even when I am continents away. She is there to speak with me, laugh with me or cry with me, whatever my mood. She makes me laugh through my tears. My mom listens to me and supports me even when she doesn’t understand my point of view.
I loved growing up with my mom. She brought my brothers and me up to be honest and we always felt that we could share anything with her and we do. She has always been a super Mom and is now a super Grandma too. She has always been my best friend as well as my mother. And now that I have another best friend and love in my life, she accepts him, even though she knows that sometimes being with him will take me further away from her in distance. She sees the love he has for me and basks in its glow just as I do. I miss my mom so much and I wish I could see her more often. But she is always with me and I think of her every day. And I know she thinks of me.
My mom is beautiful. My mom is amazing. She is strong. She is caring. She is funny. She is selfless. She is talented. She is ambitious. She is hard working. She is full of life. And love. And I miss her hugs and her laughter.
Thanks for being such an amazing mother and wonderful friend, Mom. I love you.
