Taken the morning of our second day on the Great Ocean Road, as we headed towards the Otways, which would be a little further inland. First, we zigged and zagged along the edge of the ocean, with the waves crashing against rocks and the road winding around tight corners where you couldn’t see oncoming traffic. My head was dizzy and my stomach a bit woozy as Ali steered us around each bend.
I tried to take photos out of the window and sometimes we stopped to catch the whole picture, as was the case in this photo. You can see the front of our rental car giving some perspective on the road and its proximity to the ocean. Although it was cloudy at the beginning of our trip, the clouds moved out of the sun’s way and the weather was gorgeous for the remainder of our road travels.
