I can now go into labour. My mom has arrived.* Ali has just picked her up at the airport. I haven’t seen my mom since the end of July. It’s going to be a teary and happy reunion, with baby belly and all. We’ve been waiting and praying Baby Sharp stays put until she gets here. Well, bring it on. We are ready to go! I took a personal day off work today, although I’ve only been in two half days this week, and tomorrow I will head in with my mom to say my farewells and pick up last minute items. It feels good to be so close and so ready. Stay tuned! Due date is Sunday!
*My mom chose to arrive today because there are a lot of birthdays in my family today: My great-grandma, my grandpa and my cousin. She wanted to ensure there would be no coincidences without her present. I also have two very good friends celebrating their birthdays this weekend, the 26th and the 27th. Will Baby Sharp share a birthday?
