Autumn in High Park

Last Sunday we went to the other side of town. We took a street car over to Roncesvalles Avenue and had some delicious treats in a cafe while exploring the neighborhood. We stumbled upon a fabulous book store and as always added a few more to Sebastian’s library. The new Oliver Jeffers one had just come out so I couldn’t resist. We stopped in at a couple open houses because that’s also something we’ve discovered we like to do.

We ended up in High Park. The leaves were gorgeous but Sebastian was pretty sleepy by the time we made it through the park. His body was also newly adjusting to the new seizure medication he is now on three times a day, volproic acid. This is in addition to the keppra. That’s all I have to say about that.

I love autumn. The trees. The colors. The crisp air. Blue skies. Warm sweaters. Leather boots. The simple moments. Shared with the ones I love the most.

  1. I was just thinking how happy you must be living here in Canada and then I read the post before. I am so sorry you have to go through all the ‘crap’ to get him the appropriate services he needs. I am sorry you have to go through all these horrible waitlists as they are the worst part of our health care. I am very sorry his seizures are back and it is something else you have to worry about. If you ever need to vent you have my number please use it.
    Hugs.

  2. ‘Gorgeous pics. Love Autumn leaves! It looks like a great park. Reminds of our day at the Botanical Gardens :-). Also, thanks for introducing me to new author. Just checked out his site and he looks great! Will be sure to be on the lookout for his books xo
