We went to Niagara Falls yesterday afternoon. It was a beautiful, sunny morning after being snowed in the day before and we thought, why not? We left after breakfast, stayed for lunch and were home by dinner. Ah, the freedom of having a car!
The trees glistened in the afternoon sun, many piled with a sugary coat of fresh snow on top of ice. The roar of the falls surrounded us as we stood near the edge of the icy coated metal fence. I finally took some time to use the manual setting on my camera and my fingers nearly froze in the process.
The photos in today’s post have been altered slightly using an app a good friend told me about. Later this afternoon I will post a link with the origional photos up on flickr.
