The Junkyard Wonders

“Some people look at things the way they are and cry ‘Why!’. But I want you to look at things and see what they could be and ask, ‘Why not?’. Mrs. Peterson in The Junkyard Wonders by Patricia Polacco.

I love Patricia Polacco. And we love this book. Right up there with Thank You, Mr. Falker. They both make me cry. In a good way.

  1. I couldn’t agree more! I’m reading a book called the Seven Laws of the Learner at the moment – it is challenging me to not set limits on myself or on my students 🙂 I need to read my Patricia Polacco books again! I’ll always be grateful to you for introducing us! Oh and I did a course using Blogger this w/e so am finally going to persevere with WordPress and get my head around it, realising that there’s so much you can do with it. Can’t wait to get started with writing again as well .. xx
